Aging

Ageing is the process by which the body undergoes gradual degenerative changes on increase of age. The ageing changes may not be apparent initially. Studies on ageing shows that as people grow older, the whole body weakens and metabolism slows down. When a person nears the middle age, the bones become brittle and muscles lose the flexibility. Many of them who were fit and slim in the young age will start gaining weight rapidly. Activities will be more sluggish and thinking power will also come down. The outer covering of the body, skin, is of no exception. Skin loses its elasticity and wrinkles appear as we grow older. Ageing is a progressive phenomenon which cannot be prevented by any medicines. But staying fit in the old age by giving proper care to the body and mind can be easily accomplished.
